Kano, Nigeria – A fatal accident occurred along Airport Road, Eldorado Cina Junction in Kano on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, when a DAF truck crushed a Jincheng motorcycle, resulting in two deaths and one serious injury.
According to CRC Abdullahi Labaran, spokesperson for the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kano Command, the crash was caused by dangerous driving. He confirmed that the accident involved six people, with two fatalities and one person sustaining serious injuries.
“FRSC operatives arrived at the scene within three minutes, promptly rescuing the injured victim to Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital, while the deceased were deposited at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital.”
The Gwagwarwa Police Division has taken custody of the vehicles and recovered items for further investigation.
Meanwhile, an eyewitness, Dennis Peter, claimed that three people died in the crash, contradicting the FRSC report.
The FRSC urged motorists to obey traffic regulations and extended condolences to the families of the deceased, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
