Former Ogun State Governor Olusegun Osoba has appealed to Nigerians to forgive President Bola Tinubu’s shortcomings, assuring them that Tinubu will perform during his second term in office.
Osoba spoke during the All Progressives Congress (APC) South West Zone Assembly meeting in Lagos. He declared that the Yoruba people support Tinubu’s presidency, expressing confidence in his ability to deliver on his promises.
He also noted that Nigerians collectively made Tinubu president, stating, “Now that Tinubu is in office, I want to plead with all of you to accept his shortcomings. He will do better. After his first four-year term, he will serve another four years as a Yoruba son.
“The South West Assembly’s message is clear – the Yoruba leadership stands united behind Tinubu’s presidency and remains confident in his ability to fulfill his promises during his tenure. Bola didn’t make himself the President of Nigeria; we did.”
In related news, Primate Elijah Ayodele, Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has identified two imminent personalities who can contest for the presidency in 2027, urging the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to take note.
