Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, is currently in a closed-door meeting with the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by Senator Adolphus Wabara. The meeting, held on Tuesday night, aims to address ongoing issues within the party, particularly those affecting Rivers State.
In August, the PDP BoT requested a meeting with Wike to discuss and resolve the internal conflicts that have been plaguing the party, following a similar discussion with Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
Journalists have been barred from the meeting, and details are expected to emerge once it concludes.
