Nasarawa United’s technical director, Kabiru Dogo, expressed disappointment after his team settled for a goalless draw against Bayelsa United. He felt that his players had created enough scoring opportunities to secure a victory but lamented their poor finishing.
Dogo commended his team’s effort and resilience, stating, “I am not a happy man that we couldn’t break down our opponents. However, I am proud of my boys; they were just unlucky today.” He noted that while they perform well away from home, the home games have proven challenging.
He emphasized the need for improvement, saying, “With time, we will break the jinx and begin to win our home games. We will work on our attacking play and look to bounce back in subsequent games.”
