Juju musician Omoba De Jombo and his crew, reportedly kidnapped in Abuja after a performance, have been released after four days. The band members, on their way to Kogi State for another show, expressed gratitude in a video shared on Instagram by @ijeomadaisy. The worn appearance of the crew in the video hinted at possible hardship during their captivity. Uncertainty remains regarding whether a ransom was paid, and efforts to confirm the situation with FCT Police Public Relations Officer Josephine Adeh were unsuccessful as of press time.
