The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has started distributing sensitive electoral materials to the 18 Local Government Areas of Edo State in preparation for Saturday’s governorship election. The distribution is taking place at the Central Bank of Nigeria in Benin, with vehicles ready to transport materials to designated locations.
Dr. Onuoha Anugbum, Edo’s Resident Electoral Commissioner, confirmed the exercise, stating that INEC is on track for a smooth electoral process. The distribution site was under heavy monitoring, with media outlets present to document the event.
