- In a bold and spiritually charged revelation, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has declared that God told him the church’s Governing Council will one day hold meetings on the moon.
The statement was made during the April edition of the RCCG’s Holy Ghost Service, where the 83-year-old cleric emphasized his firm belief in divine possibilities, no matter how unimaginable they may seem.
“Some people think I’m crazy. They say, ‘This man is old and is now talking nonsense.’ But God told me, and I believe Him,” Pastor Adeboye said. “One day, the RCCG will hold a council meeting on the moon. With God, all things are possible.”
He reflected on a similar experience in the past when God promised him ownership of a city while he was still living in a one-room apartment in Mushin, Lagos—a promise that he said has since come to pass.
Adeboye urged the congregation not to mock divine revelations, stressing that while God’s promises may appear illogical or far-fetched, they are always fulfilled in due course.
His comments have sparked widespread reactions across religious and secular circles, with many interpreting the declaration as a metaphor for the limitless potential of faith and vision.
