Chiamaka Okwuchukwu, forward for the Nigerian Falconets, has made the final shortlist for the 2024 CAF Women’s Young Player of the Year award. Okwuchukwu impressed at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, scoring two goals in four matches for the Falconets, who were eliminated by Japan in the Round of 16.
She is set to compete against Egypt’s Habiba Sabry and Morocco’s Doha El Madani for the prestigious honor.
The award ceremony will take place on Monday, December 16, in Marrakech, Morocco.
