The Chika Chukwumerije Sports Foundation (CCSF), in collaboration with the French Embassy in Nigeria and the French Institute, is hosting the “Inspire the Future” workshop on Wednesday, September 25, at Springhall British School, Abuja. This event aims to bring the spirit of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games to Nigerian schools.
The workshop will focus on the themes of “Excellence, Respect, and Friendship,” as highlighted by the Paris 2024 Games. It will feature 60 students, including 30 girls who will receive basic self-defense training. Attendees will also be introduced to taekwondo, Olympic values, and Nigeria’s taekwondo history.
Chika Chukwumerije, a Team Captain for the London 2012 Olympics and Beijing 2008 Olympic medalist, will lead the session. The initiative is part of the French Embassy’s broader efforts to engage and inspire youth through sports and Olympic ideals.
