A delegation of Governors elected under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is currently engaged in a private meeting with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, in his Abuja office.
The PDP Governors’ Forum Chairman, Bala Muhammed, is leading the governors. The delegation, which includes Adamawa Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, Plateau Governor Caleb Muftwang, and Taraba Governor Agbu Kefas, arrived at Wike’s office at around 12:40 pm.
Upon their arrival, Wike ushered the governors into a closed-door meeting.
The purpose of this meeting is to address the ongoing crisis in Rivers state following allegations of attempts by the minister to impeach Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
