Ileriouluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known professionally as Mohbad, passed away, leading to speculation and accusations directed at his widow. Mohbad’s aunt, in a video circulating online, voiced concerns about the circumstances of his death.
During her visit to their home after Mohbad’s demise, she claimed to have seen numerous blood-soaked clothes, leaving her perplexed. She questioned his widow, Omowunmi, and suggested that if she was involved in his death, she wouldn’t escape punishment, invoking curses in her dialect, Yoruba.
This incident followed earlier allegations during the coroner’s inquest, where Mohbad’s father accused his wife of infidelity and tampering with his food by adding sleeping pills. He also claimed that she had a relationship with one of his music signees. According to Mohbad’s father, he doesn’t trust her, especially since all of the singer’s properties are registered in her mother’s name.
Furthermore, one of the late singer’s friends, Micee, alleged that Mohbad’s wife was involved in a lesbian affair with the late singer’s female manager. He claimed to have evidence of this affair, as Mohbad had videos of them engaged in it. He also accused his wife and others of concealing information.
Another friend of Mohbad, Primeboy, also accused the widow of framing him in a public incident. He recounted a heated argument between the couple before Mohbad’s death during an interview with TVC.
