President Bola Tinubu charmed his hosts during his visit to France, humorously stating that he brought “sunshine from Nigeria” when asked if he felt cold. The exchange occurred as Tinubu posed for photos alongside French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife.
Amid his warm demeanor, Tinubu extended a serious call to French investors, assuring them of Nigeria’s readiness for business. Speaking at a joint press conference at the Elysee Palace, he emphasized his administration’s commitment to creating a favorable business environment.
“We’ve been working on stabilizing the security system in Nigeria, and we are getting closer and closer,” Tinubu said. He highlighted recent improvements in security and invited French expertise to further enhance development, particularly among Nigeria’s youth population.
The president’s visit underlines efforts to strengthen Nigeria-France ties and attract foreign investment for economic growth.
