Galatasaray are reportedly interested in signing Gift Orban, a forward from Lyon, as a potential replacement for the injured Mauro Icardi. According to Fanatik, the Turkish Super Lig champions are looking to strengthen their attacking options after Icardi suffered an ACL injury just before the international break, ruling him out for the remainder of the season.
Orban, 22, only joined Lyon in January from Belgian side KAA Gent, where he had a notable spell. Since his move to France, he has made five appearances for Lyon, scoring twice. The club’s hierarchy sees him as a strong candidate to fill Icardi’s boots for the rest of the campaign.
