Caykur Rizespor midfielder Ibrahim Olawoyin has earned a spot in the Turkish Super Lig Team of the Week for the second week in a row, following his impressive performance in Rizespor’s 3-1 derby victory over Trabzonspor. The 26-year-old capped off the scoring for Rizespor, marking his first goal of the season.
Olawoyin’s stellar form, which includes a recent assist against Sivasspor, earned him a 9.0 rating on Flashscore in both matches. He was named alongside fellow Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen, who scored twice for Galatasaray in their 3-2 win over Samsunspor.
Since joining Rizespor from Keciorengucu, Olawoyin has made a notable impact, contributing three goals and two assists to help secure promotion last season and delivering eight goals and three assists in the top flight in 2023. Rizespor now sits 12th in the Super Lig standings with 13 points and a game in hand.
