On Wednesday, prominent figures including former President Olusegun Obasanjo, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, and former Ekiti State Governor Dr. Kayode Fayemi will gather for the launch of The Noble Academic and Patriot: A Biography of Emeritus Professor Akinjide Osuntokun. The event, organized by the Peacebuilding & Human Development Centre, will take place at the Nigeria Institute of International Affairs in Lagos.
This biography honors Professor Osuntokun’s significant contributions as a historian, diplomat, and academic. The event will be chaired by former Commonwealth Secretary-General Chief Emeka Anyaoku, with Pastor Tunde Bakare as the Chief Presenter. Other notable attendees include legal luminary Aare Afe Babalola and the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, who will serve as the Royal Host.
