Boxing star Anthony Joshua has crossed the $200 million milestone in career earnings, solidifying his status as one of the sport’s top earners and surpassing rivals like Tyson Fury and Gervonta Davis. Joshua’s earnings in 2024 alone amounted to $75 million, second only to Canelo Alvarez, who narrowly edged him out in off-field earnings.
Joshua’s wealth journey gained momentum with his $65 million payday from the 2019 rematch against Andy Ruiz Jr. His subsequent fights with Oleksandr Usyk added another $40 million to his income, while his highly publicized bout with Francis Ngannou last year brought in $50 million. Additional fights against Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius, and several Wembley Stadium appearances also contributed to his financial success.
Currently recovering from injuries sustained in his recent match with Daniel Dubois, the 35-year-old is eyeing a possible showdown with Fury after the Usyk vs. Fury rematch. Promoter Eddie Hearn has confirmed that Joshua won’t return to the ring until at least May 2024, aiming for a full recovery before his next major bout.
