Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, CP Dankwambo Morris, has intensified efforts to tackle rising crime during the ember months by deploying additional police operatives across the state. The special operation includes officers from the Special Rapid Response Team, Crack Squad, Anti-Shilla, and Narcotics units, who will conduct 24/7 tactical and intelligence-driven raids to curb violent crimes.
According to a statement by Police Public Relations Officer Suleiman Nguroje, these deployments aim to ensure swift responses to distress calls and enforce the law effectively. CP Morris has also instructed divisional police officers and area commanders to lead operations, particularly during nighttime, to maintain public safety.
The CP called for public cooperation in reporting suspicious activities and provided emergency contact numbers for assistance.
