Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger has encouraged the club to sign Arsenal star William Saliba.
Rudiger, who expressed his desire to partner with the French centre-back at Real Madrid, revealed that Saliba is the one defender he’d like to see join the Spanish side.
Speaking on the *Insider Scoop* podcast (via @MadridXtra on X), the German international was asked which defender he would choose to strengthen Real Madrid’s defense.
“I’m really pleased with my current CB partner, Militao. He’s recovering well from a serious injury and returning to top form,” Rudiger said. “But with so many games, rotation is key, and having Saliba would be fantastic.”
Saliba has earned recognition at Arsenal for his composed defending and exceptional ability to read the game.
