Two prominent chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Mr. Oluremi Omowaiye and Mr. Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, have praised the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, for his remarkable contributions to public service as he turns 70.
In separate congratulatory messages obtained in Osogbo on Saturday, Omowaiye, Director of Projects Implementation at the Federal Housing Authority (FHA), and Oyintiloye lauded Oyetola’s leadership qualities, particularly during his tenure as the Governor of Osun State.
Omowaiye highlighted Oyetola’s focus on improving education, healthcare, infrastructure, and economic empowerment, noting that these efforts significantly enhanced the quality of life for Osun residents.
“Your leadership style, anchored on humility, empathy, and inclusiveness, has earned you the respect and admiration of the people,” Omowaiye said. “As you enter this new chapter, I pray that your life continues to be a beacon of hope, inspiration, and guidance to generations. I celebrate you, IleriOluwa, Adegboyega Oyetola, on this milestone birthday and wish you many more years of good health, joy, and fulfillment.”
Similarly, Oyintiloye, who served as Special Adviser for Civic Engagement during Oyetola’s administration, described the minister as a visionary leader known for his simplicity and selfless service to the people.
“There is no doubt that during his time as Osun State Governor, he embarked on different developmental strides, including the massive revitalization and upgrading of 332 primary health facilities and infrastructure development through road construction across the nine federal constituencies of the state,” Oyintiloye stated.
Oyetola’s commitment to good governance and human development, particularly through youth empowerment and social intervention programs for vulnerable groups, was also acknowledged.
