In response, the FCC emphasized that it does not function as a recruitment agency and that its role is to monitor recruitment processes in government agencies to ensure fairness. The FCC challenged Wabara to provide evidence for his claims of corruption and reiterated its commitment to adhering to the principles of Federal Character in hiring practices.
