Real Madrid’s high-profile summer signing, Kylian Mbappe, took part in his inaugural training session with the Spanish champions on Wednesday.
“Day 1. Hala Madrid!” the France captain shared on X, accompanied by photos from the session.
Following pre-season medical evaluations, the team conducted a gym workout at Madrid’s training facility, according to a club press release. The full squad was present, including players returning from their participation in Euro 2024.
Mbappe, who was part of the French squad eliminated in the semi-finals by eventual champions Spain, expressed his excitement about joining Real Madrid. The 25-year-old star was officially introduced as a Madrid player on July 16 at the Santiago Bernabeu, where he told the 80,000 fans in attendance that his “dream has come true”.
