President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged African countries to unite and harness the continent’s potential to tackle developmental challenges. This call was made during his address at the 2024 African Caucus meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors held in Abuja on Friday, August 2.
His remarks come at a time when thousands of Nigerians are protesting against what they perceive as poor governance and the rising cost of living in the country.
President Tinubu highlighted that his administration is currently implementing bold economic policies aimed at revitalizing Nigeria’s economy, which has been impacted by multiple global economic shocks.
