Veteran Nollywood actor, Dayo Adewunmi, widely known as Sule Suebebe, has passed away.
The prominent Yoruba actor died early Wednesday morning at an undisclosed hospital in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The announcement of his death was made by Pastor Ademola Amusan, also known as Agbala Gabriel, a well-known Ibadan-based cleric who had been caring for Suebebe for several months.
On his Facebook page, Agbala Gabriel wrote, “It’s a pity, Baba Suebebe died at the hospital this morning. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”
Suebebe had been under the care of Pastor Amusan due to an undisclosed ailment. Through his humanitarian outreach program on Facebook, Amusan raised financial support for the late actor.
In a viral video, Suebebe, known for his work in the Yoruba sector of the movie industry, reflected on his past, admitting that he had lived a reckless life in his younger years.
