Renowned Nigerian singer David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, hinted on Thursday that he might not release another album after his forthcoming one.
Davido, who has recently been making headlines for his online altercation with fellow artist Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, took to social media once again to address the issue. Reacting to some manipulated images of himself, the ‘Unavailable’ crooner suggested that certain individuals are eager to see him exit the music industry.
“Y’all niggas want me out the game that bad?? Oya after next album I no do again. So una fit get peace,” he posted on his social media handle.
Earlier this week, the singer released the visuals for “Kante,” featuring the talented artist Fave, from his “Timeless” album. Directed by Dammy Twitch, the video showcases Davido and Fave in a club setting, interspersed with captivating scenes from various locations.
Davido also announced that the “Kante” video marks the conclusion of the “Timeless” era, hinting at future endeavors and milestones beyond this phase.
