Renowned Afropop artist, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, shares the reason behind his eyeglasses usage and discloses a personal struggle.

During a recent interview with Capital Xtra on the red carpet of the 2024 Brit Awards in London, United Kingdom, the “Calm Down” singer opened up about suffering from long-sightedness, which affects his ability to focus on nearby objects.

Rema explained that he wears glasses to aid his eyesight due to this condition, which he had never publicly disclosed before.

When prompted by the host to share a secret he had never revealed, Rema candidly replied, “I use glasses. I’m suffering from long-sightedness.”
