The Lagos State Government has announced the temporary closure of the Marine Bridge in Apapa for repairs from November 10th to December 21st, 2023. Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, confirmed the closure, stating that alternative routes will be available for motorists during this period. Motorists traveling to Mobil Road will be diverted via Ijora to Total Access Ramp, connecting to Malu Road and Mobil Road. Those heading to Ijora/Apapa will use the Apapa-bound ramp of the Marine Bridge, making a U-turn at Point Road Junction. Osiyemi advised using Marine Bridge Access Road for Area B, making a U-turn at Point Junction Road to continue journeys.
