The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that the draw for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) will take place on Friday, November 22, at the Mohammed VI Technical Centre in Sale, Morocco.
Morocco, which also hosted the previous WAFCON in 2022, will stage the tournament from July 5 to July 26, 2025.
Nigeria’s Super Falcons, nine-time WAFCON champions, are among the 12 teams that have secured qualification for the competition. The Banyana Banyana of South Africa, winners of the 2022 edition, will also be part of the tournament as they seek to defend their title.
This draw will set the stage for Africa’s top women’s football teams to compete for continental glory next year.
