Renowned Nollywood actor, Amaechi Muonagor, is currently facing a difficult battle with paralysis and has reached out to the public for assistance.
Amaechi Muonagor, celebrated for his roles in numerous movies during his healthy days, revealed that he is now stricken by paralysis due to a stroke.
In a heart-wrenching video, the legendary actor was shown in his bed, earnestly pleading with fans and fellow actors to lend their support.
According to his account, while on set with some of his old colleagues, he decided to leave. As he was about to enter his car, a sudden stroke hit him.
He expressed gratitude that the incident didn’t occur while he was driving, as he could not fathom the consequences it might have had.
Apologizing for keeping his health challenge private, he reached out to the public and requested assistance.
This comes in the wake of veteran actor Mr. Ibu, who is currently hospitalized, also seeking help as he faces a health issue that may result in amputation.
Notable Nigerian figures, including Davido, P-Square, and Tunde Ednut, have offered to cover the medical expenses of the ailing Mr. Ibu. Former Senate President Bukola Saraki also cleared Mr. Ibu’s medical bills through his foundation.
Providing an update on his health, Mr. Ibu disclosed that he has undergone five surgeries, all of which have been successful. He expressed his gratitude to the public for their support, indicating that he is still recovering in the ICU and awaiting stabilization before flying abroad for advanced treatment.
