Natasha Akpoti Sworn In as Kogi Central’s First Female Senator

-

Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has been officially sworn in as the senator for Kogi Central in the Senate. This historic moment on Thursday marked her as Kogi State’s first female Senator.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio instructed the Senate clerk to administer the oath of office to Natasha, recognizing her election as Senator for Kogi Central. Her Certificate of Return was presented by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), confirming her as the duly elected Senator.

This development came after the Court of Appeal, on Tuesday, upheld Akpoti-Uduaghan’s victory in the Kogi Central senatorial district election.
