Yvonne Jegede, Sam Olatunji Criticize Angela Okorie for Confrontation with Mercy Johnson

-

Filmmaker Sam Olatunji and Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede have strongly rebuked Angela Okorie for her confrontation with her colleague Mercy Johnson and her late mother.

Angela had accused Mercy Johnson’s late mother of practicing witchcraft, suggesting that it was time for Mercy Johnson to face the consequences of her mother’s alleged actions.

She claimed that Mercy Johnson’s mother had a history of manipulating people’s destinies, leaving Angela Okorie to question the fate of those affected by such actions now that the mother is deceased.

In response, Sam Olatunji questioned the basis of Angela’s allegations and urged her followers to consider her mental well-being. He suggested that Angela might be experiencing a mental breakdown, despite appearing harsh in her behavior.

Sam pointed out Angela’s habit of calling out others while presenting herself as flawless, advising her to reflect on her own mental health.

He expressed:

“How can one conclude that someone’s mother is a witch without being one themselves? It’s time to check on your favorites; some may be undergoing mental breakdowns, while we perceive them as just ‘being difficult’.

You call out everyone, yet you present yourself as having a perfect character…my dear, take a moment to reflect and reassess your mental state…you seem to be heading down a troubling path!”

Yvonne Jegede echoed Sam’s sentiments, agreeing with his assessment and highlighting Angela’s tendency to act as a self-appointed enforcer within the Nollywood community.

“Exactly. They act as if they are the Nollywood police,” she commented.
