Nigerian singer Harrysong has opened up about the marital issues he is facing with his wife, Alexer, and has appealed to the public for understanding.
Earlier reports hinted at trouble in the couple’s marriage after a leaked chat surfaced online, revealing heated exchanges between Harrysong and his wife. The conversation included threats to withdraw support if she didn’t abort her pregnancy, and comparisons between his wife and alleged side chicks.
Taking to his Instagram story, Harrysong acknowledged the challenging time for his family and urged the public to respect their privacy. He stated, “While this is undoubtedly a challenging time for my family, I am appealing to members of the public to respect my family’s privacy during this period and also to kindly request for your utmost understanding. Thanks for the love and support.”
Last year, during his wife’s birthday celebration, Harrysong playfully mentioned his plans to take a second wife, but it was not clear if it was a joke. The couple tied the knot in March 2022 and has two daughters, Daviva and Purity.
Addressing past rumors of welcoming twins with an ex-girlfriend, Harrysong clarified that he didn’t have a set of twins and that his first child is Daviva, whom he shares with his wife.
