The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has released the list of members for its various sub-committees ahead of the 2025 Elective National Convention scheduled to hold on November 15 and 16 in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The announcement was made on Monday through the party’s official X account. The list, signed by the Chairman of the National Convention Organising Committee (NCOC) and Adamawa State Governor, Umaru Fintiri, covers over 100 members across categories such as accreditation, security, and electoral processes.
According to the statement, the committees will oversee arrangements for the election of new national officers at the convention.
Among the key appointments, Governor Ademola Adeleke chairs the Accommodation Committee, while Governor Dauda Lawal leads the Accreditation Committee. Governor Douye Diri heads the Contact and Mobilisation Committee, with Udom Emmanuel in charge of the Constitutional Amendment Committee.
The Electoral Committee is chaired by Governor Fintiri himself, with Adeleke as deputy. Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan leads the Entertainment and Welfare Committee, and former Senate President Bukola Saraki chairs the Medical Committee.
Other notable chairs include Governor Caleb Muftwang for Protocol, Governor Bala Mohammed for Publicity, Governor Kefas Agbu for Security, and Governor Seyi Makinde for Transportation. The Venue Committee will be led by Oyo State Deputy Governor Adebayo Lawal.
The party noted that the sub-committees, made up of governors, senators, and other stakeholders, are critical to ensuring a smooth and credible convention in Ibadan.
