Labour Party Rep Member, Ajang Alfred Iliya, Defects to APC

Ajang Alfred Iliya, a Labour Party (LP) member of the House of Representatives, has officially defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Iliya, who represents the Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency, was announced by Speaker Tajudeen Abass in a letter during plenary. This defection follows closely after another LP lawmaker, Daniel Chollom, joined the APC just two days prior, citing the LP’s leadership crisis and his desire to support the President in national development. Additionally, four other LP members recently defected to the APC.
