Rangers’ assistant coach, Ekenedilichukwu Eke, has expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance following their 0-0 draw against Enyimba in the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL).
The defending champions held Enyimba to a goalless draw in a closely contested oriental derby at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba, on Tuesday. While Enyimba dominated possession, Rangers stood firm with a solid defensive performance.
Eke praised his team’s effort, saying, “This is a fantastic result for us, coming all the way from Enugu to Aba to secure a point. It wasn’t an easy game at all.”
He continued, “From start to finish, it was intense and highly competitive. I give credit to both teams, but more to my players—they performed wonderfully well. It’s a good result for us.”
