SUPER EAGLES AFCON PERFORMANCE: GIVE THE CREDIT TO THE NFF- CSOs Urges Nigerians

The Civil Society Network for Good Governance and it’s 87 Member organizations, has said the performance of the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations Competition does not come as a surprise after all, considering the seamless administrative support given to the team by the Nigeria Football Federation Management board.

The President of the Network, Adefila Kamal said this at a press conference held in Abuja on Monday, the Network said it has absolute confidence in the Ibrahim Gusau Led Football Federation and the entire board members, especially the midfield roles played by the General Secretary of the NFF, Mohammed Sanusi.

“Just like the Amaju Pinnick Led board of the Glass house, the magnitude of support been given to the Super Eagles Management and Players is constantly improving” said Adefila, he also attribute the success many of the Super Eagles players have recorded at their club sides as one of the many ways the NFF management works underground by giving counselling and infact helping stabilize families of the players and ultimately boosting the performance of the boys.

The Civil Society Network appealed to Nigerians to keep praying for the eagles to ensure we lift the trophy, while also calling on sponsors to fully invest in the national colours for good Return on investment as the current NFF board will ensure the Super Eagles wins all that’s there to win.

They concluded the Press conference by thanking the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Honorable Minister of Sports, Senator John Enoh for their unwaivering support given to the team.
